As a qualified solicitor Amanda worked for many years in a senior position providing legal advice and advocacy in cases relating to the safeguarding and protection of children including extensive experience as an advocate in Court. An experienced manager, she also maintained a keen interest in training and mentoring; developing and delivering a number of training courses for those working in front line child protection.

Recognising the importance of high quality, ethical training in the improvement of life chances for young people, she joined the Liga management team and is currently responsible for HR.

Amanda holds a BA (Hons) in Jurisprudence from Oxford University and an MA from Oxford University. She is a qualified solicitor and was a member of the Law Society's Children panel for 5 years. She has further qualifications in a range of subjects including Safeguarding, Prevent, IAG, Equality and Diversity.
